Discover My Customer

This Launch Pad has two modes. Use them in order. Mode A happens before you talk to anyone, it gives you the tools to go find out. Mode B happens after your conversations, it turns real data into the outputs that power everything you build next.

Bring to the session

  • Your Start-Now Statement from LP 1.1 (Chapter 1). If you skipped it, go back, this Launch Pad has no context without your business direction.
  • Your best guess about who has this problem (even if it's a guess, that's the point)
  • One sentence each on what their problem is, what they're currently doing about it, what they'd pay, and where you'd find them. "I don't know" is an acceptable answer. It's data too.

What you walk away with

- An assumption stack with honesty grades (KNOW / THINK / GUESS) - A customised 7-question conversation script with follow-up probes and politeness red flags - An outreach plan: 10 specific places to find conversation partners, with template messages for each - A 14-day conversation calendar with daily targets

The AI finds the patterns. You had the conversations. Both are required. It can spot that three different people used the word "stupid." It cannot sit across a table and hear the frustration in a voice. That part was your job, and you already did it.

The guided version opens with The Builder's Desk

A 4-step guided session that structures the work, saves your outputs, and connects them across chapters. Until then, the full briefing is in your copy of the book — it works with any capable AI assistant.

One email when it opens. No sequences, no spam. Unsubscribe any time.

From the book: Save this output, you will need it for LP 1.3, LP 1.4, LP 1.5, LP 1.6, and throughout Books 2 and 3. Your customer profile, watering holes, and Language Bank are the foundation for your offer, your outreach, your sales page, and your content strategy. Nearly every Launch Pad downstream references these outputs. If you only save one thing from Book 1, save this.
